Cheryl Brown

Children's Director

Cheryl was born and raised in Paris and attended First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Paris High School and Paris Junior College. Cheryl attended the University of Texas in Austin and Texas A&M Commerce. She received a BS in World History & Government, Secondary Education Certification, and Special Education Certification. Cheryl was married at FUMC Paris and her husband is now deceased. She has two children. Her daughter, Brandi Crowell, is married to Jay and their kids are Caden and Chelbi. Cheryl’s son, Christopher Brent, is married to Amy. Cheryl taught at Paris High School for 30 years and coached cheerleading for 18 of those years. She has taught Sunday School to elementary aged kids, worked with the Youth Group, and has been an active member of the choir. She now works as the Children’s Director of FUMC and for Jeff C. Starnes, Attorney at Law.
