Rev. Jarrod Johnston has served as a pastor in the United Methodist Church since the fall of 2013, after serving as a worship director for eight years. As a pastor he served at FUMC Arlington, Union Coffee as a Church Planting Resident, and most recently at FUMC Burleson where he launched the Family Style community. Jarrod is passionate about excellence in worship, connecting new people to Jesus, and amazing coffee. He loves innovative ministry and everywhere he's served he's started new small groups, programs, and faith communities. Jarrod's wife, Leanne, has over 20 years of ministry experience in many ministry settings. They met while Jarrod and Leanne were in seminary at Perkins while Jarrod was studying for his Master of Sacred Music and Leanne for her Master of Theological Studies. When Jarrod was called from worship ministry into ordained ministry as a UMC Elder, he returned to Perkins for his Master of Divinity. He was ordained as an Elder in Full Connection to the Central Texas Conference in 2019. Jarrod and Leanne have three children: Wesley, Eloise, and Tommy.
